10 Music Videos That Should Be Movies

What Happens In The Video? A group of seemingly parentless Icelandic children make their way across a barren landscape, helping and supporting one another, until they all jump off a cliff and begin swimming/flying through the air. The smallest one hesitates before he jumps, then finding the courage to do an almighty cannonball off of the cliff, the ending standardly ambiguous. There€™s a definite Lost Boys-vibe to the whole thing (Peter Pan-style, not vampiric Kiefer-Sutherland). What Would The Film Be About? Think The Goonies meets Where the Wild Things Are. There€™s a lot of material here for a dreamy, soulful take on the old coming-of-age teen films; you could even have elements of Stand By Me and The Fellowship of the Ring. The kids all have very distinct personalities, from the little drummer boy, to the girl with the bear hat, to the cowboy-looking kid and the youngest boy who€™s kind of dressed like a tiny 19th Century soldier. Put them on some kind of adventure, maybe give them specific abilities or powers matched to the way they€™re all dressed. It could definitely make for some sort of magical family film. Who Should Direct? Somebody give Spike Jonze a ring. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz8iEJeh26E
