Admit it...you knew that Alice Cooper was going to be on here somewhere. Given that this was the guy famous for the millions of times he's been "killed" onstage, it's not that hard to imagine him being in any sort of danger during his show. Funny enough though, the real killing blow happened before the actual show even started.

When running through the stunts at dress rehearsal, Alice did his infamous performance of being hung from a gallows, after which a piano wire would catch him before he started to choke. No one really bothered to check to see if the wire had gotten rusty over the years though. So when the gallows went up, Cooper was nearly caught after hearing the wire snap, quickly maneuvering out of the hold and falling on the lip of the stage.

As funny as it might have seemed at the time, Cooper is adamant about how it was extremely dangerous, claiming that he probably would have snapped his neck if his chin had been just a little bit bigger. Suffice to say, the piano wire that they got to replace it was the best that they could find on the market. Then again, if an actual gallows can't kill Alice Cooper, he's pretty much bulletproof when he takes to the stage.
