10 Musicians Who Died On Stage

2. Tiny Tim

Trying to name another musician like Tiny Tim will leave you with nothing but blanks, as this quirky, ukulele wielding, falsetto singing star was one-of-a-kind.

His everyday name was Herbert Buckingham Khaury, and even if you don't recognise him right off the bat, you'll likely recall his iconic voice when listening to his biggest hits, "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" and "Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight".

By the year of his death (1996) Tiny Tim no longer had a multitude of star power, but he was still doing what he loved on smaller stages across America. Sadly, after suffering a heart attack during a show at a ukulele festival, he was advised to stop doing live-performances by doctors.

However, he chose to ignore this request, leading to his final performance at a charity gala in Minneapolis.

Before going on stage, he told his wife he wasn't feeling well but didn't want to cancel and disappoint the audience. Unfortunately, this would lead to him suffering another heart attack on stage, never to regain consciousness.
