10 Musicians Who Should Release More Music

3. Andre 3000

Outkast were a cultural timebomb when they first broke onto the scene in the '90s. For as much attention was paid to the East and West Coast beefs on either side of the US, these guys were repping for the South and turned in some of the greatest alternative hip hop of the modern age. Though they may have been fractured for a while now, it's mind-boggling to see Andre 3000 avoid the studio as often as he does.

While Big Boi has had a few decent studio albums to his name, Andre hasn't released a single new track ever since the release of the band's soundtrack album Idlewild. Many people would have thought that Andre has just lost his touch, but his ability to still bring it on every song he's featured on is absolutely staggering.

For as many killer songs are in the OutKast catalog, Andre's verses working with everyone from Gorillaz to John Legend to Anderson Paak to Frank Ocean have remained some of the most melodic and chaotic hip hop flows to come out in recent years. Andre clearly has enough material for a full album in features alone, but outside of his "solo album" The Love Below, he remains one of the most elusive artists in the recent memory.
