4. Justin Timberlake
Its quite funny actually. Just seven or eight years ago, Justin Timberlake was considered to be a bit of a joke in pop music. He was once a member of boy band *NYSNC (think One Direction but the 90s). And yeah, thats fairly embarrassing. But now hes really worked his way out of that. He broke away from the rather split opinions that Justified left and released FutureSex/LoveSounds. This album has an electronic base and built its pop sensibilities around that. And what an album it turned out to be. I remember being very confused in 2007 as Justin Timberlake quickly switched from being a girly boy band singer to being a cool, edgy pop star. Hes been out of the game for a little while but Im already quite fond of The 20/20 Experience. Id say hes come back just in time to shoo off the idiocy of One Direction.
