10 Popular Songs That Hide Creepy Hidden Messages

5. Electric Light Orchestra - Fire On High

Aye the Mr Blue Sky lads might not be the first band you'd turn to when thinking of creepy hidden music, but their various works are littered with bizarre backwards statements. The best one though, the best one by a mile, is hidden in Fire On High from the 1975 album Face The Music.

"The music is reversible, but time is not. Turn back! Turn back! Turn back! Turn back!”. Not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but the overriding message there seems to be that time is finite and all matter is decaying and this brief window of life we have on this earth is, ultimately, all any of us really have and spending it rewinding prog albums for hidden messages is no real way to spend it.

As I say though, not an expert.
