10 Problems Only Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Fans Will Understand

6. Never Being Able To Decide On A Best Album

951958

Just which album is their best? Each one has their own unique twist, showing a different side to the band and it's an agonising question for each fan. Can you imagine trying to decide a 'Greatest Hits' album? It couldn't be done. There's just something special about each record.

Their first album, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, introduced them to the world in 2001 with it's reverb driven shoegaze-meets-garage rock. Take Them On, On Your Own, from 2003, continued where the first album left off, showing a deeper songwriting style. Howl showed the folksier, bluesy side to the band while Beat The Devil's Tattoo was a more varied affair. And Specter Of The Feast was the more personal take.

Their 'best' album could change every day, depending on what mood you're in. Each one is vital to their back catalogue.
