10 Problems You'll Only Understand If You Date A DJ

5. Never Having Any Idea Where You Are

While travelling around the country in a big van with DJ materials in the back seemed like it might be a lot of fun (kind of like a musical road trip, right?), the realities of it are far below your expectations. You spend a lot of time having no idea where in the country you are - not that you really care, because you lost interest twenty towns ago. You try to keep up with which Travel Lodge/ Premier Inn you're staying at, but it doesn't matter, because they all look the same. Sometimes you have to stay in hostels and they're the worst, because the rooms are pretty grotty and it's not exciting like it would be if you were travelling abroad. These are just standard double rooms lacking luxury where you'll both have a sleep and then get up in the morning with little regard for the place you just stayed in.

I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
