10 Reasons There Won't Ever Be Another Prince
3. Prince Simply Did Not Age
A lot of people have joked over the years that Prince might have been an actual alien. As far as ridiculous jokes go, there was something a little eerie about this one. Because rationale be damned, there's no way that a man in his 50s should be able to look as young and silky as Prince did.
But it's not just his physical "vessel" that failed to age from decade to decade like the rest of us humans, his music has a similarly everlasting quality to it.
No, not all of his albums went on to become permanent classics, but considering the sheer quantity of his output, there's surprisingly little to be embarrassed about when going back to listen to the majority of his albums years or even decades later.
Maybe that's because he had that Davie Bowie-esque knack for constant experimentation that made a good portion of his music feel ahead of its time, so when we go back to listen to it now, it just seems on par with what current musicians are finally doing.
Whatever the case, there's no such thing as "old Prince" in any regard.
