6. 'The View From...' Videos
Matt Helders is one of the most talented drummers in rock, but more importantly, he's a really funny bloke. 'The View From...' videos are a collection of YouTube clips following the Monkeys on their Humbug tour, presented by the brilliant Helders who pops up with quotes a-plenty, including "Some people call that rock and roll, I just call it unhygienic" while talking about drummers wearing sweaty jeans. The videos feature a grumpy Alex Turner, Jamie Cook dancing (a lot), P Diddy's house (yeah, really), Helders in a pair of crocs, the band drinking an awful lot of margaritas and the Monkeys covering Poker Face, and they've spawned countless references, memes, gifsets and even an Alex Turner "Margarita Making Kit" on Tumblr in their honour. No, these videos don't make the Arctic Monkeys a better band, but they do give the fans a little insight into the men behind the music. And it looks blooming good fun being a Monkey.
