10 Rock Albums That Were Stuck In Development Hell
7. Hard-Off - Bloodhound Gang
In true Bloodhound Gang fashion, the band behind Bad Touch released an album called Hard-Off in 2015 which featured what appears to be a man in bad makeup with incredibly long breasts on the cover.
That is not something you can see on the Discovery Channel.
Bloodhound Gang fans had been treated to a greatest hits compilation called "Show Us Your Hits" in 2010, but this was the band's first collection of new songs since 2005.
Why did it take so long? Honestly, not a clue.
In 2008, guitarist Lupus Thunder (not his real name) left the band to replaced by A's Daniel P. Carter (his real name).
Speculation arose that a new album was coming in 2012, but that year came and went without incident.
Rumours flew around that the record would be called anything from Getting Laid on a School Bus to Fishin' for Hookers, but it wasn't until 2015 that a new Bloodhound Gang record finally saw the light of day.
It was getting to the point where they were even joking on stage about how long the album was taking.
Maybe not such a good idea there, guys.
