10 Rock Bands That Never Made A Bad Album
2. Nirvana
Every generation of rock fans has that one musical moment that seemed to freeze time. Whether it's seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show for the first time or hearing your first Led Zeppelin riff, some music has such a presence to it that it transcends the present day. Though many cultural shifts happened in 90's rock, no band moved the entire rock world quite like Nirvana.
Creeping out of the depths of Seattle, frontman Kurt Cobain created Nirvana and paved the way for the new guard in rock music. Rather than concerning themselves with hairspray and glitter from decades past, each of the band's records were artistic rock staples that were the benchmark of modern rock and roll.
With a catalog only comprised of 3 studio records, the band seemed to tell their complete story with every single album. Starting with 1989's Bleach, the band already had their songwriting intact with a metallic aggression.
By the time they reached Nevermind, the band had become songwriting masters, which they transformed into a sonic barrage on 1993's In Utero.
Though the band came to a tragic end in 1994 after Cobain was found dead in his Seattle home, each song of theirs has held up as some of the greatest of the 90's... or any decade for that matter.
