10 Rock Bands Who Broke World Records

2. The Who - Shortest Music Concert

Sometimes, a musician will have to stop a gig earlier than expected through no fault of their own. Whilst this is definitely annoying, most rational people will likely understand why they had to do this if the given reason is good enough.

That being said, fan sympathy was probably quite low when The Who took to the stage in Tampa, Florida on 13 March 2007.

The UK rock icons, which consisted solely of Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend at this point, were due to perform at the Ford Amphitheatre in front of 9,000 paying customers. Daltrey, who had been ill throughout the day, took to the stage and attempted to sing, but quickly realised he was too unwell to deliver.

This led to the concert being called off after just 13 seconds, officially making it the "Shortest Music Concert" in recorded history. Should Roger have made the call earlier in the day and cancelled the show ahead of time? Probably, but then he wouldn't have gotten his place in the Guinness Book of World Records, so it turns out he made the right decision after all.

By the way, the show was rescheduled for 12 days later.
