6. Rammstein
Not every band is meant to make you think terribly hard whenever you go into the venue though. Music is always about letting you forget about what's going on in your life, and you sometimes need something a little over the top to put your mind at ease. If there's a limit for what constitutes over the top though, Rammstein sure as hell don't know about it.
Though Rammstein's music is some pretty decent industrial rock, their live show is enough to win over the most jaded metalhead. Being one of the most daring acts in the genre, nothing is off the table whenever they hit the stage, with the actual platform looking like a warzone a lot of the time, with enough pyro on the stage to level a small village if not used properly.
That's just a drop in the bucket for what these guys have in store though, from simulating sexual acts onstage to the keyboardist that runs on a treadmill throughout the entirety of the show (hey, you get to get your cardio in somehow.) Second only to the band GWAR (who deserve a list of their own), Rammstein is the definition of an unpredictable live rock show. It could be the moment that you find the meaning of life, or it could be the sign of the fore coming apocalypse, but either way it's going to be a trip.
