10 Rock Music Bands With Two Incredible Guitarists

7. AC/DC

Similarly to Guns N' Roses, AC/DC also had one incredible soloist and one rock solid rhythm player in their ranks. And guess what? They were related!

The Young brothers, Angus and Malcolm, were born in Scotland but grew up in Australia. This is where they formed the band in 1973, remaining as constant members until Malcolm's passing in 2017.

Angus was always the flashier one. He was the onstage wildman, flailing around in his signature schoolboy outfit whilst cranking out some of the most memorable solos in rock history. As for Malcolm, he was always found towards the rear of the stage.

Though he was never as upfront as his manic brother, Malcolm played just as important a role in AC/DC's success. He was described as the leader of the band, helping to steer them to glory without the need to duck walk.

Malcolm's playing style was subdued but effective, keeping rhythm without ever upstaging the antics of his sibling. There's a reason so many people were quick to pay tribute to him when he died.

Rock 'n' roll might be famously loud, but sometimes it's the quiet ones that make all the difference.
