10 Rock Songs That Have Obvious Mistakes In Them
2. Here Comes The Sun - The Beatles
By the time the Beatles got around to making Abbey Road, all of the infighting seemed to come to a standstill only for a little bit. The business problems at Apple may have been piling up larger and larger, but the Fab Four were persistent to leave their career off on the right note, bringing in George Martin to produce again and making one of the greatest statements of their career. Out of all of Lennon and McCartney's songs though, George Harrison was the standout here, even with a track where he fumbled over the words.
There doesn't really seem to be anything about Here Comes the Sun that can be improved. With a beautiful acoustic guitar sequence and George's calming voice, this is the kind of song that feels like it belongs in the early hours of the morning when the sunrise just touches your face. As the verses play out though, George was having a hard time deciding which word to use for the second half.
On the first verse, he says it feels like years since the sun has been here, and the second verse he has it seems like years. So which one did he decide to do for the last verse? Both. Whether it came down to losing his path as he played, the last verse has George saying that it 'seels' like years, which sticks out like a sore thumb once you hear it in context. Life's too short to dwell on those kind of mistakes though, especially when everything else around this song is about as close to perfection as you can get.
