4. Oasis vs. Stage Debris
With the arrival of Oasis, it felt like the edginess of rock and roll was coming back for a little while. Even though grunge had set the stage for a return to roots, the Gallagher Brothers had that same punk rock attitude that felt reminiscent of bands like the Sex Pistols from back in the day. And when you actually stepped to Liam Gallagher, he did intend to practice what he preached.
Over the years, fans always tend to throw things onstage every now and again, whether it's because they don't like the group or if things start getting out of hand. Once Liam was hit with a shoe from the back of a club though, he was less than enthused. While Noel has always said that he was worried about people coming to gigs to cause trouble, Liam was more than happy to stoke that fire, saying that he would meet the person who threw the shoe after the gig for a scrap.
That would be one thing, but R'Kid takes it one further by threatening to get the guy up on the stage and get hit right in front of the crowd. Considering that this was on the Definitely Maybe circuit of gigs, it looked like the rock star attitude was already instilled in Liam's veins at this point.
