This was never more true than at the 1999 Video Music Awards when she showed up in a lavender dress and matching wig. What was particularly shocking was that the dress left Lil Kim's entire left breast exposed, safe for a strategically-placed pastie to stop us all getting a complete eye-full. One unexpected fan of this outfit was Diana Ross who, when presenting an award with Lil Kim, reached over and playfully jiggled the exposed breast in a hilarious move no one saw coming, much to Lil Kim's- and the audience's- amusement.
