8. GG Allin Shares His Fecal Fascination With The Audience
Most musicians tend to save their shocking antics for a bigger stage, a larger audience. GG Allin was not most musicians and thats exactly what punk rock fans at the Creve Coeur VFW discovered in 1985. While he certainly wasnt the most talented of punk musicians (which isnt saying much), GG Allin definitely knew how to put on a show. Allegedly, Allin had eaten about a box of Ex-Lax on the bus prior to the show. This explains why, by the time he took to the stage, he was ready to explode - in all the wrong ways. For a crowd of about 20-25 people (which for a small punk show is practically a packed house), Allin proceeded to defecate onstage. Then, wanting to share the experience with the crowd, began to fling his own excrement at them, sending them running to the exits. Never to be accused of being an idiot, Allin also went as far to smear it all over himself as well. Why? So nobody would want to get close enough to him to retaliate with any violence. Brilliant.
