10 Songs By The 1975 You've Been Sleeping On

8. Narcissist

The 1975 have built up a reputation for giving other artists on their label 'Dirty Hit' the benefit of their time and influence with almost every gig the band plays being opened by a fellow 'Dirty Hit' artist and it seems they can't even play festivals without ensuring their peers make it onto the bill somewhere.

A long promised collaboration with pop favourites Pale Waves has still yet to materialise but the band have already dabbled in studio team ups with fellow 'Dirty Hit' artist: No Rome on the infectious synth track, Narcissist.

Unlike most collaborations, the song is listed as being No Rome featuring The 1975 and not just Matty Healy who provides samples and vocals on the track. In fact, the whole band contributed to the song and it's very apparent they doused it in their signature style.

Seemingly recounting the tale of a prolific womaniser, Narcissist is feverishly catchy despite its unpleasant subject matter and should be a staple of any playlist to be played on repeat, as loudly as possible.
