Of course young Jimmy McCulloch had already enjoyed a certain amount of success with his own previous band Thunderclap Newman. If he was feeling any nerves around Beatle Paul you wouldn’t know it from his blistering performance on this, his first recording with Wings.

Juniors Farm is named after the Nashville farm where the band were staying. It’s a raucous, chugging rocker with delightfully batty nonsense lyrics. You can hear the excitement in McCartney’s voice when he introduces McCulloch for his visceral guitar solo.
