Not one of the most upbeat on this list, it still misguides you with its romantic start and the pacy, catchy tune. What starts as a wonderful love song soon turns to despair and sadness when you realise the eponymous Maggie, that you thought the song was a wonderful ode to, turns out to have become trapped in a downward spiral that eventually leads to her taking her own life.
