This modern classic, first effort exemplifies much of what these now ten year veterans are all about - loud, heavy guitar riffage, wailing vocal peaks and crashing drum wallops. Despite line-up changes and some four years later, the band released Cosmic Egg in 2009, an album with highlights such as the smashing, premonition powerhouse 'New Moon Rising' and the psych rock, roller coaster 'Cosmonaut'. After yet another split, their 2014 comeback album New Crown was a continuation of the thick slabs of rhythm heavy delights that we have come to know and love about the coven obsessed, three-piece. They may have lost some steam due to lengthy hiatuses but Wolfmother still show that they can more than keep up with the new breed. The hard rock outfit are just about to release their fourth LP Victorious, a record that will most likely take their hardened fanbase into another dimension.
