2. She Has Issues With Taylor Swift
The two singers have had issues as far back as 2013 and they continue today. But what was the real thing that started it all? There are a number of issues the Taylor and Katy have with each other and the bad blood doesn't seem to be ending any time soon.
In 2009, Swift dated singer/songwriter John Mayer. The two would split not long after, but things got interesting when Perry started dating Mayer herself in 2012, after her split with Russell Brand. This stirred things up a bit.
When Swift embarked on her RED tour in 2013, she took Perry's dancers with her. However, during the RED tour, Perry was out on her Prismatic tour and offered a job to her old backup dancers. They accepted and left the RED tour early.
In a Rolling Stone interview, Swift revealed that her song 'Bad Blood' was about Perry, accusing Katy of stealing the dancers on purpose and calling it a 'sabotage'.
Since then, Perry has confirmed their feud and hinted at the media that Swift is not who she appears. 'As pop figures we're all characters [...] Taylor's the sweetheart, that's the narrative' - yep, things aren't cooling down for a while.
