7. Nirvana Were Kicked Out Of Their Own Nevermind Release Party
Before any record is released an album release party has to take place. Its one them annoying things you have to do as band, and if you dont, those big wigs at the record company will threaten you with the thought that no one will purchase your stuff. But we all know its a bunch of baloney, but youre contractually obligated, so you make sure you turn up. Nirvana showed up for their Nevermind release party at the very tiny club Rebar in Seattle slightly tipsy and worse for wheres. Once the party had gotten into full swing, the band and their friends began taking things a little further by starting a food fight which saw plenty of party goers tossing around a watermelon which was full of relish, leading to a whole heck of mess. Subsequently it led the grunge trio being chucked out of their own party covered in salad dressing. Not exactly the drug-alcohol fueled antics rocker tend to get up to, but funny and adorable all the while.
