10 Things You Should Be Listening To - End of the Road Special

1. Jonathan Wilsoncountry/folk/blues/psychedelic Do you like the setting sun on a desert horizon? It€™s a beautiful image, equal parts haunting and comforting. Simultaneously warm and cold. It€™s the kind of imagery that plays well staring at the sky and driving alongside, especially when enhanced by the perfect soundtrack. Completely cinematic. I don€™t think I€™ve ever heard a song that captures that as well as Desert Raven by Jonathan Wilson. The first song I heard by him after looking into acts playing at End of the Road, and I was instantly hooked. Dealing in a kind of psychedelic folk that doesn€™t mind tipping its hat to Neil Young, The Eagles, The Byrds and The Band, every song is a hazy and immersive experience packed with stunning harmonies. I pray the sky is kissing the horizon as the sky blushes pink and orange when his stage time comes around. http://youtu.be/-hYiY1vOOVw facebook website twitter
