10 Times Fans Saved Imperfect Albums

6. All Things Must Pass - George Harrison

George Harrison never really seemed to get his due when he was in the Beatles. While songs like "Here Comes the Sun" and "Something" have held up as some of the greatest moments of the group's later period, things were still primarily focused on the team of Lennon and McCartney.

He may have been put on the side, but Harrison was really stockpiling material for what would be one of the greatest Beatles solo albums ever created.

Though we finally got to see All Things Must Pass in full force, the experience as a whole can be a bit of a sit. Expanding into a triple album, this record really starts to feel its length in the back half, with the Apple Jams sounding like Harrison just wanting to make a few filler tracks to fill the runtime for a triple record. These songs may not be integral to the album, but fans have a funny way of mixing things up.

Rather than have to sift through 15 minute long jams, All Things Must Pass has been looked over by fans and assembled with different running orders, often with the third disc omitted entirely. The Quiet Beatle clearly had a lot to say with his first solo outing, but fans taught him that you can say a lot more with a bit fewer tracks.
