"I dont know if this is statistically right, but Im assuming I have the most Grammys of anyone my age. But I havent won one against a white person."
Here's another way of saying it: "Never mind whether or not this 'fact' I'm quoting right now is technically accurate, I'm still going to rail against my perceived racism because I'm Kanye West and I deserver EVERYTHING." Now, yes, there certainly does appear to be some heavy cultural biases amongst the old piles of dusty chalk that vote on these music awards, but Kanye probably isn't the best poster child for the cause. One of his very first Grammys was for Best Rap Album in 2005, when his debut album, The College Dropout, was up against the Beastie Boys, who you might recognize as three very, very caucasian guys. He also won that category the following year with Late Registration, which was up against Eminem's Encore. That were also several white people nominated in his many wins for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. ...But yeah, other than that, Kanye's totally getting whitewashed from the Grammys.
