The guys in Slipknot look like they would rip you in half just for looking at them the wrong way, which is why it's so surprising to find out that lead singer Corey Taylor is actually a lovely guy.

On April 11th 2022, when Slipknot were in the middle of a headlining a show as part of their Knotfest tour, a punter got injured during the song Vermillion. Having noticed something was up, Taylor called for the band to stop, and began ordering the crowd to back up and give the person some space.

He then began directing the arena's medical staff to the fallen fan, who were able to get them to safety before the show restarted.

Taylor kept his cool during what could have been a really scary situation and the rest of the fans in the pit showed great maturity in coming to the aid of their fellow maggot.

A similar thing happened at a different show in Cincinnati the following year and Taylor once again showed his true colours.

Clearly people need to stop going so hard at Slipknot concerts.
