Bruce Springsteen is one of the most legendary names in music, having enthralled millions of fans with his emotional tales of working class America since his debut album in 1973.

As a result, many of his followers feel a special connection to The Boss, with some going the extra mile and choosing to personally include him in some of their more intimate moments.

At a show in 2016 taking place in MetLife Stadium, located within Springsteen's home state of New Jersey, one fan popped the question during a performance of Jersey Girl.

The star noticed something going on and stopped the song, possibly because he thought something was wrong. Guitarist Stevie Van Zant indicated with his ring finger, and Bruce got the idea.

Rather than go back to his song, Springsteen invited the two up on stage to play out the big moment in front of thousands of people.

The prospective groom handled the situation like a champ, delivering a knockout speech where he said he loved his new fiancée even more than Bruce. The two then embraced, with the crowd going wild.

Thank God she said yes.
