10 Totally Unique Locations For Music Concerts

1. Max Raptor In A Fan's Bedroom (2011)

House aren't quite as prominent as they were back in the day. The small time, sometimes dingy affair has been largely forgotten in favour of actual venues and showgrounds (ironic considering how many venues have closed in the past few years).

Enter Max Raptor, a punk rock four-piece from Burton upon Trent who ended up playing in the bedroom of a teenager, following a bizarre Facebook campaign.

On the back of the group's debut mini-LP Portraits, Max Raptor got themselves a superfan in Barney Hall, wo was singing the praises of both the band and the album to Kerrang! magazine and the Gill and Beez Podcast Facebook page.

Frontman Wil Ray caught wind of the attention Hall's comments were getting and joked that if the idea of Max Raptor playing in Hall's bedroom accrued 1000 likes, the band would follow through with the idea.

A brief campaign later and 1000 likes had been achieved and Wil was left with the task of explaining to the rest of Max Raptor their next gig.

As someone who tuned in to watch the streamed 'gig', I can confirm that Barney and his mate looked to have a lovely time.

We are all Barney Hall.
