10 Worst Debut Albums By Amazing Rock Artists

4. We Care A Lot - Faith No More

There's an argument to be made that Faith No More's actual debut was 1987's Introduce Yourself, which would make sense given its name. That was the band's first major label release and some argue the group should be judged on their work from this point on.

However, you can dress it up any way you like, but We Care a Lot still exists.

Released two years before Introduce Yourself, We Care a Lot was initially funded by the band themselves before it caught the eye of a label. Sadly, this wasn't enough to stop the album sounding like it was recorded using a dishwater.

The production is all over the place; fuzzy, distorted, messy, and rough as sandpaper. This isn't always a bad thing, but here it just sounds unrefined and confused.

Also, poor Chuck Mosley was not having a good vocal day when he recorded these songs. He sounds pretty dreadful in places, which only adds to the argument that Faith No More only got good when Mike Patton replaced him.

Speaking of Patton, he absolutely hates this album. Although, he might be a little bit biased.
