10 Worst Songs On Classic Albums

9. They're Red Hot - Red Hot Chili Peppers

In the grand scheme of things, hidden tracks are not meant to be all that important. More often than not, it just serves as either a sly joke or just a little teaser at what be coming on the artists' next album. However, when you actually make it into a full-blown album closer, that's when the confusion starts.

On the surface, Blood Sugar Sex Magik by the Red Hot Chili Peppers could be considered the California natives' first masterpiece, with songs like Under the Bridge and Give It Away being a crash course in funk rock. While the Peppers had been known to indulge in some more "avant garde" style productions from time to time, this cover of an old blues song by Robert Johnson is up there as one of their weirdest, with Anthony Kiedis struggling to even keep up with the rest of the group as he adopts this skeezier persona.

Even though this song would have killed under the right circumstances, it just stings that much more when you realize it's at the end of the album. Considering that the mammoth 8 minute Sir Psycho Sexy comes right before it, this feels like snuffing out your creative energy for one last go around. For as classic as songs like Suck My Kiss are, They're Red Hot needed to be either discarded or moved up a bit in the track listing.
