12 Best B-Sides Of All Time

3. Fleetwood Mac - Silver Springs

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVsy717Ej7U Written in 1977 by Stevie Nicks, 'Silver Springs' was originally supposed to appear on the band's smash hit album Rumours, but was instead released as a B-side to 'Go Your Own Way'. Fitting in perfectly with the Rumours sound, its one of Fleetwood Mac's hidden gems; a ballad that any other band would kill to have as their own song. Nicks said that the exclusion of the song from the album added tension to the already strained relationship amongst the band. Eventually,a live version from the band's live album The Dance was released as a single in 1997. The live version earned a Grammy award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group. A Fleetwood Mac classic; it has since found itself on re-released versions of Rumours as a bonus track. It is however, still one of the classic B-sides.
