12 Best B-Sides Of All Time

7. David Bowie - Suffragette City

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLnPd7lzT4g One of the best glam rock songs ever written started its life as a B-side in 1972 to the single 'Starman'. Both songs would eventually make it onto David Bowie's album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders from Mars. It would also be re-released as the back-up in 1975 to lead single 'Young Americans'. The song so good, it was a B-side twice. With glam rock swagger, the song is a party tune that gets any disco dancing. It also found itself on one of the most influential and important albums in history and is a Bowie classic. Eventually, in 1976, the song was released as a single to promote the Chanesonebowie compilation in the UK; it failed to chart. An injustice if ever there was one,it will have to remain a brilliant B-side.
