1. Results May Vary - Limp Bizkit
Really...what was it about Limp Bizkit that gave them so many fans? While it's understandable that some fans could relate with Fred Durst whining about his problems, that same whine was what would actively negate the stellar musicians he had behind him. Though some of the best moments in the band's career came from the non-Durst band members, you know we were in for a shitshow once Fred was left to his own devices on Results May Vary.
With guitar madman Wes Borland AWOL, this 2003 record was what finally showed the world just how off-putting this band can get at their worst. Every single track is just complaint after complaint, with Durst occasionally pumping the breaks to talk about sniffing a girl's underwear on "Eat You Alive." Even though the band were able to bring in big names like Snoop Dogg and Korn guitarist Brian Welch on a couple tracks, their presence only shows how little amount of originality these guys actually possess.
This is also responsible for giving us their cover of "Behind Blue Eyes," which is a firm middle finger at one of the greatest Who songs ever written. It's been a joke for years about how Limp Bizkit ruined music in the late 90's, but it only seems like poetic justice that by the time the 2000's rolled around, music decided to return the favor and leave them in the dust.
