12 Problems Only My Chemical Romance Fans Will Understand

5. Loving Their Solo Careers

Since the breakup in 2013, each of the band's four members has gone on to begin separate musical projects.

Front man Gerard Way released his debut record Hesitant Alien in September 2014 €“ a mix of britpop and alt-rock, the album does a fantastic job of distinguishing itself from the music of My Chemical Romance while also retaining Way's awesome song writing talent. Guitarist Frank Iero formed FrnkIero AndThe Cellabration, releasing first album Stomachaches in August 2014. Gerard's brother Mikey formed the band Electric Century with New London Fire guitarist David Debiak and Ray Toro is currently tracking and recording every instrument on his solo album. In short, the guys have been extremely busy since disbanding. But though their solo stuff is legitimately great, it's still tough watching each member stand on stage alone. There's just nothing quite like seeing Ray's hair bob to Frank's rhythm, or knowing two brothers are sharing the stage. The guys were a family, and seeing that family fragmented sucks, even if they're still making great music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZcB9maO1-E
