5. Earl Sweatshirt
rap/hip hop/alternative rap Everyones probably already more than familiar with Odd Future and the majority of its members. However, theres one member, and perhaps the most talented, thats yet to have his time to shine, and that member is Earl Sweatshirt. Whilst many will be familiar with him from the whole Free Earl campaign that Odd Future ran after his mother sent him to Samoa to attend a therapeutic centre for at risk boys on account of his behaviour. Infamy aside, many wont be familiar with his musical output; his brilliant, and free, debut album Earl was released back in 2010. Sporting a cartoonishly grotesque lyrical content that can be as graphic as it is offensive, Earl can also boast the best flow of any of Odd Future peers, Tyler included, and a knack for a creative wordplay in his lyrics that shows early Eminem as a clear influence. His sophomore effort Doris is due to be released this year and is likely to put Earl in the spotlight. http://youtu.be/FCbWLSZrZfw
