It remains a seminally important moment, bristling with classics (before they became so in some cases) and astonishingly tightly performed for a band still rocking from the death of Cliff Burton. Captured on film, Seattle was the moment the Damaged Justice tour hit its perfect crescendo, as the band showcased And Justice For All - re-announcing themselves as a re-invented, important band with bruised but bigger musical muscles. Everything was bigger, louder and longer and proved that Metallica had the stones to go on after an unthinkable tragedy robbed them of a key personality and a key influence on their music. Its almost unthinkable that this performance came a quarter of a century ago, but looking back now it still feels like a brutal statement of intent.
