As with festival name givers, Earthtone9, it'd be rude not to include the headliners. So, first up are post rock legends 65daysofstatic, who are getting pretty long in the tooth now with just over a decade behind them, four albums, a soundtrack, a live album and numerous EPs. However, this September sees them releasing their eagerly awaited fifth studio album, Wild Light. Many post rock bands bring in elements of electronica, but no one does it quite like 65daysofstatic as they wholeheartedly embrace its glitches, its synths, its noises and off-beat drum samples that Aphex Twin would be proud of. Though, that's not to say they forget the heavy, guitar driven, cinematic tension at post rock's heart, because there's plenty of that to boot.
