13 Things You Should Be Listening To At Reading And Leeds Festivals

2. We Are Knuckle Dragger

we are knuckle dragger

Having supported The Dillinger Escape Plan and Meshuggah, and having had an album produced by Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, Helmet), and having an album produced by Ross Robinson (Deftones, Slipknot, Glasjaw, At The Drive-In, Korn) on its way you might have a rough idea of how We Are Knuckle Dragger might sound, and you'd probably be wrong. Though, maybe a little right. The Newcastle based three piece kind of are a little bit of all those elements just mentioned, but then again, they aren't. What they are though is noisy, loud and weird, and that's just great. Ranging from heavy riffs, to spindly lead guitar lines, to muted chugs, to off kilter rhythms, to grunge grooves, to drastic changes, to raucous noise. If any, or all, of those elements appeal to you then quit reading and start listening. Also, band least likely to go watch Bring Me The Horizon, if their song Get The Horizon Yourself's title is anything to go by. http://youtu.be/sQhBio0R1_g
