10. Closure In Moscow
prog rock/post-hardcore/funk I covered these recently in a live review; supported Dance Gavin Dance, their eccentric attire, surreal stage banter and my awkward meeting of the singer in the toilets after the gig. A friend of mine wheres their t-shirt a lot now, it contains Ultraman he learned in a pub recently. Digression aside though, Closure In Moscow were born out of that delightful, upside-down side of the world, continent called Australia. Their sound is steadily evolving but there is always a consistent core of progressive rock influenced alternative rock throughout. Though, they also dabble in sounds ranging from punk, to soul, through funk and a sexy kind of world music that brings to mind the flare of The Mars Volta on De-Loused in the Comatorium. http://youtu.be/Pi08y-A39S0
