10. David Bowie - Scary Monsters And Super Creeps

220px Davidbowiescarymonsterscover1 Sometimes an artist can release a perfectly judged, sublimely sequenced and exquisitely judged statement of where they're at musically, and history will largely ignore that effort against the meteoric highs they've reached in the past. Bowie was always going to struggle to release an album as popular with both fans as critics as Ziggy Stardust et al, but from the New Romantics-birthing Ashes To Ashes onwards, Scary Monsters... is arguably one of his strongest and most coherent pieces.

I am a freelance writer, currently residing in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. I was raised by wolves in the woodlands of Northumberland, but am still posher than Colin Firth having dinner with The Queen. I write all of my pieces by swallowing a cocktail of scrabble tiles and vodka, then regurgitating them over my jotter. Hope this explains the typos.
