7. Pulp - This Is Hardcore

Another stone-cold classic record which is unfairly underrated against more popular works is Pulp's 1998 masterpiece 'This Is Hardcore'. While their previous record, 'Different Class' came to define the Britpop movement, ...Hardcore arguably tore it down, and is all the more interesting for it. The titular track and The Fear are all about drowning in expectation and cocaine, while 'Help The Aged' is the funniest song about the fear of aging ever written.
