15 Best Infected Mushroom Tracks

This is the epitome of the ‘weirdness’ vibe that Infected Mushroom has been cultivating for so many years. All of the sounds in this track are weird and wacky, and demonstrate just how much the group’s sound has evolved over time.

Released as a single in 2011, ‘Pink Nightmares’ is chock full of weird little eccentricities that make it easy to identify as something made by Infected Mushroom. Tiny little background effects, a heavy bass, multiple layers of synthesis stacked on top of one another, and ridiculously abnormal vocals and lyrics (Amit Duvdevani is technically the person singing the lead ‘female’ voice).

Furthermore, we once again get a long ‘rise’ to build-up the track, which leads to the single-most intense crescendo that IM have ever produced. The entire period from the 4:07 mark to the 5:12 mark is filled with what is undoubtedly the most powerful, sharpest, and most metallic sound that IM have ever crafted.

Though hard to describe into words, it speaks volumes of the duo’s ability to craft sounds out of nothing, and create masterful compositions out of each sound they produce.
