15 Facts You Didn't Know About Blink-182

11. Travis Barker Was Miscredited At The End Of American Pie

Famously, blink-182 appear briefly throughout scenes in American Pie. The band are seen in a rehearsal studio watching Jason Bigg's Jim Levenstein attempt to get it on with a girl via live stream, strip tease and all.

Blink helped create the snotty punk sound that would define the music of American Pie and their song, Mutt, featured in the film's soundtrack and aforementioned scene.

However despite playing such a big role in American Pie, they still managed to mis-credit Travis Barker once the credits rolled around. Not only did the film confuse him for Scott Raynor in the cast, but had his name down as ‘Travis Barkor’ in the song writing credits for Mutt.

Seriously, how did they mess up that bad?!

It was probably a timing issue as Raynor had only recently left, and Mutt was supposed to be released on 1997's Dude Ranch, which he drummed on.

When it came to filming, Travis joined as a last minute addition and the band recorded the song for the film and their later album, 1999's Enema of the State.

Thankfully, this mess up is the kind of thing the band would likely find hilarious.
