15 Greatest Hair Metal Albums

14. Love At First Sting (1984) - The Scorpions scorpions-love-at-first-sting I have to admit, I haven't listened to enough Scorpion albums to consider myself a true fan of the band. But Love At First Sting, their 9th studio album (whoa), is most definitely a classic. The German rockers had charted big in the US with this one, and the album contains some of their best known material, including their signature song and biggest hit, Rock You Like A Hurricane. This album is also notable for being one of the first heavy metal albums to be recorded digitally. Considering that's how pretty much all music is recorded nowadays, that alone is enough to consider it a milestone. The album cover also caused a bit of controversy and eventually had to be replaced with just a shot of the band. Thanks Wal-Mart.

What KC Mobley lacks in height, he makes up for in sheer passion. Especially when it comes to films and 80's heavy metal. Don't be afraid, he doesn't bite...much.
