15 Hilariously Awful Songs Released In The Name Of Charity

4. The X Factor Finalists 2009 - You Are Not Alone

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beeonktpHFM Here's a fun game: re-watch one of the four singles The X Factor finalists released (Hero, Heroes and Wishing On A Star being the other three) and see how many €“ or how few €“ of the acts you can name. Those hopefuls that were definitely going to be your new favourite stars. You were going to buy their album, see them live, have their posters on your wall, marry them and €“ oh! €“ they've left the competition in week three. So who appears in 2009's cover of one of Michael Jackson's worst songs? Little Joe McElderry; that song he did was okay, Ollie Murs; he's doing very well for himself, erm...Young Mousy Girl; was she Scottish? Danyl; more memorable for how his name's spelt. And is that the Sugababes? Stacey Solomon; probably still driving home for Christmas, Jamie Afro; more memorable for his hair, Rachel Adedeji; more memorable for The X Factor voice man saying her name, Jedward; who almost get a line, and...the others. In a bizarre move, a charity single hasn't been recorded since 2011's Wishing On A Star, despite the fact that all four reached #1 and raised money for their charities. Could it be that Simon was worried they would tarnish the reputation of his "relevant" talent show? (Won last year by 30-something prison guard, Sam Bailey)
