15 Most Iconic Rock Albums Under 30 Minutes

3. Little Richard - Here's Little Richard (28:30)

Holy crap, where did this eccentric little dude come from? Little Richard stormed out of the gates and directly into the public eye with his first official album, the appropriately-titled Here's Little Richard. There was no testing the waters, either, it was a full-on cannonball from the world's tallest diving board. Imagine the combination of luck and talent someone needs to have in order to begin their career with "Tutti Frutti" (the very first track on the album). Of course, over the span of 12 songs--nearly each one now regarded as a rock and roll classic--Little Richard proves that his talent-to-luck ratio is about 300-to-1. Though it would be tough for anyone to surpass a debut album this energetic and surefooted, it's a shame that he never quite trumped his legendary, hugely influential introduction.
