4. Heartbreaker
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAcackhvYtQ Proof that serious health problems and an astonishing 40 years in the business will never dilute Lemmy's 100% proof dedication to the cause, "Heartbreaker" was an instant Motörhead classic on its release, gaining immediate airplay on rock radio stations and kicking off
Motörhead's 22nd album in true grit and bile-inflected style. You don't buy a new Motörhead album looking to be challenged or surprised by what unfurls, you buy it because you're looking for a rock n' roll fix that only Motörhead can provide; a pure adrenalised rush delivered direct to the bloodstream. Admittedly, Lemmy's ravaged larynx appears a little strained at times, but he still sounds like a snarling belligerent purveyor of filthy rock n' roll at its most electrifying, and thats all that we can ask of the man in 2014. "Heartbreaker" wouldn't sound out of any place on any of Motörhead's classic albums from the late 70's and early 80's, and there can be no better recommendation than that.
